bloody - swollen vent

I have a Americana that has a swollen bloody vent --- sometimes with white ozzie liquid coming out.... What could be the problem and suggestions on what I should do?
 
so Sad she died today... didn't think I would get attached to a chicken RIP BROOMSTICK...
