Bloody wattles

I have 9, 6 week old chicks. 4 Amber links, 5 Barred Rocks. Two of the Amber links have bloody wattles. I haven't seen why this happened and the blood is now dried. Does anyone have any idea why this has happened or any advice on how to prevent this?

most likely the other birds pecked at it. At 6 weeks they will start fighting over the pecking order. I wouldn't worry about it too much but try to stop them getting bored. Have a hiding spot, have perches, feed treats like sunflower seeds or mealworms.
Think about giving them more space.
The wattles will heal fast but you don't want this turning into a bigger problem either.
