Bloody wing feather

Sounds like a good plan. But don't mistake large trees from detouring hawks. We have large trees and many native bushes and a hawk got my Bantam rooster last year. They will sit up in a tree for the perfect opportunity. So if you can put up netting or something else to discourage anything from flying in. Love to see your set up when through we have so many members who are always looking for ideas.

Well, I haven't seen any hawks in these trees, but I'll certainly keep an eye out, and will look into netting. We have to get them off the front porch TODAY! (But yes, I will post pictures.)

Ducks in their new temporary digs, and after the trauma of being caught and transported in boxes, they are SO happy!

Here they are taking a break in their happy happy foraging in their on-the-farm pen. (You can't see it, but there's chicken wire on the cattle panels, so they can't go through them.).

That looks great! Looks like they are chilling! Will you still bring them inside at night?
Yes, they have a partitioned off part of a large indoor room. Quite spacious. And a nice-sized yard. Here are a couple pictures from the first couple days (inside, and discovering the duck-tub outside).
