Blow air sac

[Yard full o' rocks]

I just received 15 SQ Barred Rock eggs via our illustrious USPS. Only one has a minor hairline crack which I touched up with candle wax.

Does anyone have pix of what a detached or "blown" air sac looks like? I can see a bubble floating around in one egg and wondered if that is what I am seeing.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that's what it is.

It's like a big bubble floating around inside and looks different from the yolk shadow.

Well, I'm not really sure they're all a lost cause, but when the air cell is blown, usually, the egg is a bit scrambled as well. All you can do is try. Mine started to seep after a few days in the bator (the BR eggs I had shipped to me) and got crystalline droplets all over the surfaces, so I pulled them.
