They don't look like rooster feathers, but they aren't neat and clean like hen feathers. I can't get a good pic of them, but the bird you posted pictures of definately has way different feathering than my bird

You've got a tough one there

! I'm going with a hen on this one. Yes, the darker shoulder feathers are more of what you'd see on a cockeral sometimes, but, those are not pointy enought feathers at the tail to be a roo. Some hens are big-our splash is way bigger than our blacks. I'd still give it a few more weeks to be sure.

I'm thinking pullet. The saddle feathers aren't as pointy as they are on a male.

i agree that its a pullet the coloration alone says pullet as cockerels woud have a different coloration on them
