My free rare exotic hen came back a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte. She is 4 months 2 weeks 4 days old and it dawned on me today that she might be a he. Any ideas???

That's a boy. The curved tail feathers and rust patch on wings are the obvious giveaways.

Thank you! I feel stupid as he isn’t acting like a rooster. He hasn’t tried mating the hens, he doesn’t crow, and he’s not protective like my others were. He isn’t a dominant bird in the coop. He’s the only male.

He's still young and the girls are putting him in his place. Once he gets older he should start rising in dominance.
