Blu kote and chickens eggs

You could use the BluKote on paper towel. Then add a little bleach or 1/2 strength bleach to it in the sink.
I have used BluKote in the past to hide bare red skin in pecked chickens, and it worked well.
Gentian violet is the bluing agent which still is available online in a concentrated form. It was used for many decades, even to treat thrush in the mouths of babies with that fungal infection from overuse of antibiotics. It is no longer used for that with the use of nystatin antifungal medication. It, along with many other drugs and substances, used in the past have been found to cause cancer in mice when used in excessive amounts. It all depends on how much it is used. Even things like Betadine and Neosporin can be toxic if used in huge amounts. We can go a little overboard in warning everyone about everything.
