Lori, I'm thinkin' there is a gorgeous, long-tail rooster in the woodpile with a smug look on his face! LOL!!!

Captain Jack must have had his back turned! Sneaky roos! Is there any way this could have happened? It sure would explain A LOT!!!

I'm thinking that Rusty, my longtail cross cockerel, must have gotten to their momma the one time they were out together!!!! Figures!!!!!

Oh well, I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that they are pullets because I need some more ladies in my laying flock!!

Now I get to wait until my 1 remaining Cree girl starts to lay so I can do this all over again!!!

Yeah!! There's not a lot I can do about it now!! LOL!!

My new Cree pullet hasn't been out of her pen, so there's no chance that any other rooster got to her!!

I'll give it another shot when the time is right.

If they are pullets they will probably be green/blue eggs layers and very pretty. Just didn't want you to be suprised in a few months if you were trying to breed purebreeds or sell them!
 
The only surprise is that the cockerel in question was only 4 months old at the time, so I didn't worry too much about it since he was so young!!LOL Oops!!!
