Hi!
Hello, newbie chicken keeper here. We just got this blue ameraucana today. I'm not very familiar with the breed, but was wondering if someone could take a gander at it's gender...? It's peacomb looks like a single row, but some feathers near it's back end look

A beautiful pullet! Do you have any more chickens that she will be joining?
Hi, Thanks for the reply. Yes, "she" *hoping, hoping, and excited at feedback for pullet* will be one of 5. :) Putting her in lockdown...lol kidding, well sort of...she is being quarantined just in case of any illness. Going to introduce her to her chick cluck (hehe), I mean chick click after awhile.

Perfect! I would recommend introducing her to the flock after quarantined with a “look but don’t see” method for several days. Integrating a single hen into a flock is always more difficult than with 2+ birds. Supervised visits may be necessary to avoid any harm from her new flock mates.
Good luck! ❤️
