Blue Ameraucana thread!

So my flock of BBS Ameraucanas were completely decimated by a raccoon. I’m devastated and searching endlessly for new birds. It seems I can only find EEs being sold as Ameraucana. It’s frustrating for sure. I’m in NY, willing to travel and pay anyone have any they’d like to part with????

Hello everybody! Thought I'd join the thread, as I have 37 Blue Ameraucanas in the incubator right now. 25 are descendants of Paul Smith lines, and are BBS, also show quality and NPIp certified, got them for $48.00 off eBay+ shipping, and the other 12 are from Paul Smith and Max Strawn lines, pure blues, and I got them for $20.00 + shipping.

I set them an hour ago, so I've got some waiting, but my plans for them are putting all resulting hens in with my future Black Copper Marans that I'm hopefully getting in the next bit, and next year having F1 Olive Eggers from BA hens, and BCM roosters, as well as some pure BCMs, cause I'll have some BCM hens in the same pen.

I have a flock of pure BBS that I hatched earlier. They are not laying now but I intend to have eggs and will custom hatch chicks for anyone next spring. I'm not sure about shipping chicks though I probably could. On site sale/pickup would always be fine and I am in Massachusetts. If someone wanted chicks, I would have you pay me for however many you would want. I will hatch them out for you and you would get all in whatever color assortment they came out in. Straight run chicks as I do not sex them.

What color offsprings are you getting off him and the barred hens? I know they will be sex-linked.
