Blue Ameraucana thread!

Haha, I'm sure it sounds the same with all chickens. And while he's doing that, all the hens start attacking him so he jumps off and starts trying to sound all innocent like. And I think my RIR's are around 8 months old.

I am looking for a REAL Ameraucana pullet in Texas, preferably in the Houston area or up to a couple of hours away. I really love the blues, lavenders and splashes but am open to other colors as well. I tried to find one last year and bought a frizzled EE who ended up laying a brown egg. I have a very gentle breed mixed flock of four and am only looking for one bird. I can't believe how hard it has been to find one! If anyone has a single pullet or knows where I can get one, please pm me. I am willing to pay generously for the right bird.

It almost looks like it has some green slate around the toes, but that might just be from the camera and grass and such, other wise looks legit to me.

No, no green, it was cloudy and dark out. Oddly enough, my hubby had just mowed all the weeds down too lol. Your right, it might be some green weed juice lol! But honestly she doesn't have green legs.
