Blue and Self Blue

I already asked about blue and understand that. But what's self blue? Does that mean that two blues will have 100% ratio blue chicks?

Yes. Self Blue is also known as recessive blue. So for a bird to express it has to have two copies of Lav (lavendar is also called self blue, the same thing.) So if two birds express it, they both have two copies, thus the offspring will all have to have two copies, hence 100% of the offspring will show to have self blue (aka Lavendar, recessive blue)
