Yes positive. Hatched from a white egg. It's actually very classic Andalusian body. It'seems kinda squatted down here foraging. Here's a picture of it younger.
Don't know the breed &don't see any hackle/streamer feathering of a Cockerel so will say Pullet....Unless someone that's familiar with the breed says different....Pretty coloring.
Thanks everyone. This is a hard one for us too. A local classroom hatched a grab bag of pure breed eggs from Meyer Hatchery. 9 hatched. I took them off their hands and am adopting some out and keeping some. This chick hatched from a white egg, so going by the breeds Meyer sells, Andalusian is the only bird of this color that lays white eggs. We'd love to keep it...if it's a pullet! It's an energetic, curious, good foraging bird! Very sweet!
