Blue Andalusian--Cockerel or pullet

Pretty sure I already know the answer, but I thought it was worth asking! It is 2.5 months old

That's what I thought, but I'm not overly familiar with Mediterranean breeds. Are you looking at the pointy feathers near the saddle or the big comb?

It always has to be my "favorite." Haha that's life. I'll still call him Lucy for now! Hopefully I can find a decent home since we can't have roo's with our neighbors. Anyone in the Ames, Iowa area looking for one? ;-)

There are products on the market to quiet a rooster's crow.

Aw it's a shame I don't live closer cause I have two girl blue andalusians.

That's something I might look into, but at least in the videos I've seen, they can still make quite a ruckus (though some are quieter than others). We don't need fertilized eggs or protection from predators, so he wouldn't have much of a purpose, I'm afraid.

You can eat fertilized eggs too. They taste no different
