Blue Andalusian Color?

Hey Peeps!

I recently purchased some eggs from a breeder in Norco. Nice guy, all pure breeds in seperate coops.

I bought some Blue Andalusian (Not spelled right?) eggs from him and they hatched a few days ago. Two of them are white, and one hatched out black. I never got this breed, and should have researched it a bit more before purchasing them.

Is this the right colors? Will the white ones darken?

I'm entering uncharted waters here, but am fairly certain that blue andalusian do not breed true. You will get black, white, blue and splash birds. Someone help me here.

You're right. You can get blue, black or splash. I have 2, and one is white/splash, one is
blue. I think, but I'm very uneducated on breeding, that breeding a black and splash often results in blue? Sorry you don't get a blue

I never knew they came in so many colors! So I myst have a.black and two whites?

You most likely have a black and 2 splash:

Blue X Splash = 50% Blue ,50% Splash

Blue X Blue = 50% Blue . 25% Black , 25% Splash

Blue X Black = 50% Blue, 50% Black

Splash X Black = 100% Blue

Black X Black = 100% Black

Splash X Splash = 100% Splash
