I got 8 chicks this spring, all of which were sexed as females. One of my blue andalusian chicks has had me thinking it's a male for quite some time now, even more so as it gets older. The size difference between this chick and the other blue andalusian that I have is quite substantial, and just its overall appearance is very different. Thoughts?

I wouldn't go by overall size...that's influenced by a lot more things than just hormones.

The combs on each seem similarly developed, but it appears to me that the suspected roo has much thicker legs?

Yes it's legs are much thicker.

It isn't screaming boy at this point. I'd say pullet for now, but not 100% certain. If the legs are a lot thicker, that could be an indication of cockerel, so do keep an eye on it for now like Jensownzoo said.

Thanks, I'll just have to wait and see. What age will the sex be more distinct?

Looks like a girl for sure to me. You'd at least be seeing a little more red waddle game by now even if the comb wasn't shining up cherry red. She just kicks down doors instead of knockin' with legs like that, that's all!
