Blue Andalusian thought was a pullet, now confused...

Yep, if it were a male, it's comb and wattles would be much larger by now. I vote pullet!

I don't think its a breed trait I have 6 Andalusian roosters not one is mean just roosters. I have had roosters that were mean and would flog you as soon as your back was turned. these roosters were American game and we call that a man fighter. I will not have a rooster that will do this. My Andalusian's will scrap from time to time with each other but not mean to people. Its more of a pecking order thing with them. There not overly ruff with the hens or young stock. They are a bit flighty and get scared easy if you have a large trap feed sack etc.​

I have 9 week old Blue Andalusians. Blue girls, and a splash and a black girl.


And a blue cockerel.

It is very. very. very obvious.

I have a feeling I have more roos too. That looks like a saddle but the comb is small. Maybe these hens are different

Definitely a cockerel.

No one will mind you replying to an old post but you'll get a lot more responses if you start your own thread because most people see the date as 2009 and multiple replies and don't even bother to look at it.

You could start your own thread and post pics of all your chickens (individually) to see if people can help you determine the genders.
