Blue Andalusians - Ideal/McMurray?

I agree, that the hen must be mixed....as they say in the dog world, something else got under the fence! She is very pretty, though.

So is your Andy roo, Smokey!!!!! I want a blue roo!!!! Wahaaa.
Out of 3 roo's they sent, I got a white splash, a blue splash, and a black....

Yeah, it does seem that there was a little "accident" at the breeder's place. What would cause that red color bleeding through on the neck? I was thinking maybe a red/gold roo with the Columbian gene... Anybody know for sure? Cause I'm just guessing!

By the way, I also think she's pretty. Racey, like a muscle car with flames painted on it.

That's one way to look at it, I guess! Red flames, alright! I did read where tan in the chest is undesirable, so maybe this isn't the only case of that happening. Though, could be true, someone else with red flame feathers got in the pen, hehe.

I met my mom's McMurray blue andalusians yesterday, and they're beautiful to me. I know nothing about the standard. They seem nicely laced, and are gorgeous. They are her friendliest birds, even though she doesn't handle her chickens much. She loves them!
