Blue Andalusians? Tell me about them

I actually did the same thing.I was doing a last minute order and trying to fill it with somehting they had left.I ended up with two andalusians and 3 partridge rocks and I'm very happy with them both.I was sorta disappointed that I didn't get a blue one but the splash color is very pretty.I call them splish and splash.A very good large white egg layer also.

I have 20 andalusians I got from a breeder in TX. They are young and about to start laying. We got them because we love blue chickens. 10 are blue, and about 5 each black and splash. I will be selling hatching eggs soon.

They are smaller birds, and mine are rather flighty, but they are gorgeous and compact. A very pretty bird. They are cold hardy and tolerant of crowding to some degree. They definitely want to be where they can get in the dirt.

I like them and will be maintaining a breeding flock.
