Blue andelusian--boy or girl??

Help! This beauty has not started laying yet but no crowing either. I know this breed is known for it's large cones but I'm starting to think he/she is a Roo!

How old? I'd guess rooster

About 99% positive is a Rooster, I have one myself and he's a great Rooster.

Yup that is a rooster. Darn!! He's about 5 months old

At 5 months 100% rooster

The only thing I'm not seeing is the tail feathers and his neck feathers are rounded. No crowing either but no squatting either

The trick to idetifying a rooster if your not sure is the saddle feathers. Hens never have this, and it's a lot easier then waiting till they crow.

I'm not seeing saddle feathers like other roosters I've had, but this is my first andelusian

I'm going with hen honestly, this breed has a very large comb and the tail feathers are not a deep blue like normal males of this breed. At this age If It was a rooster I think the comb would be much larger. The example I hope show you the difference in the sexes. Best of Luck!

Notice this is a male due to the color in the saddle feathers. This is the breeding standard. Great example of a rooster
