Blue Barnevelder rooster FREE. Approximately 10weeks old. Live in Fort Collins, CO. Can’t keep him.

That’s not a barnevelder. He looks much more like an Easter egger hybrid, such as a whiting true blue.

Well, he sure looks like other Barnevelders that are pictures in other places on this site. He was sold to me as a Blue Barnevelder. So...
When I look up ‘whiting true blue’ I don’t find pictures that look like him.
It’s possible you are right. I’m going by comparison and what he was sold as.

You could start a post in the breed/gender forum if you want more opinions. I’m mainly going by his comb (it’s a pea comb, while barnevelders have single combs) and his color, which is black, not blue.
