Blue Birchen Marans- pullet or cockerel?

Hey all! Hoping for some early insight on this chick, it was added a freebie to my purchase from a local breeder so I do believe it is a 100% purebred. Really got my fingers super crossed for a pullet but seeing a bit of a comb already so have my doubts. Certainly very loud and opinionated when picked up but I don't notice any other behaviors.
This chick is about a little over a week old right now so I know I may just have to wait and see- the hardest thing in the world! If anyone has any thoughts or guesses, would love to hear them!

Way too early to tell. Marans have pretty good size combs. You will be able to tell around 5 weeks!

I have one of their blue birchen marans . She is gorgeous and just started laying a few weeks ago at 7 months of age.

An update at 2 weeks old! Looking a little like a cockerel to me with the comb and wattles coming in but I'll keep waiting and see.

I can see those tiny wattles in the 1st pic. What a cutie! Keep updating us on the little one!
