Blue, Black, Splash Orp hatch starting ~ UPDATE: *9 Hatched*

I have 13 BBS Orp eggs in my bator from TuffOldHen. I moved them to the hatcher last night and found my first pip around 11:30 this morning. I am so excited, I can't wait to see these little darlings!!

I just had 4 out of 6 hatch last week! They are really cute. Good luck!

I have 2 chicks hatched, one is blue and the other is either dark blue or black. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is black. 2 more are almost zipped and there are 3 more with pips.

So neat.....I just had 13 Buff Orps Sunday and Monday. Would love to see some other colors. While my "babies" are cute....they do all look the same!! Please post some pix and GOOD LUCK.

It looks like I have 2 Blue, 1 Splash and 1 Black so far. There are 4 more pipped.

I had 10 out of 12 hatch from Tuffoldhen. I ended up with (I think) 3 splash, 3 blue and 4 black. I'm afraid all of the blues might be boys!

I think I can tell the roos just by the feathering and the tail size--is that really possible with the orps??
