View attachment 4003112View attachment 4003113Some photos of these two over a year on. After the moult, Boots has gotten some copper in her dewlap, I assume this is passed on from her sire’s golden neck hackles.

Spot was found dead this morning, I lost over £100 worth of chickens this morning. The wind was so bad at night it must have swept up any chicken too daft to sleep in the sheds.

He’ll be missed, I had a breeding project lined up for him but that won’t get to happen now.
