Some come solid corn yellow; others will have either black spots or and blackish sheen to the yellow (which makes it look dirty). Thanks for the compliment.

Sounds a lot like our blue Cornish, what have you found, breeding wise, to help keep the yellow? Can you use the non yellows ? Or is that just asking for trouble?

In Asil the blacks/blues (non-standard color in large fowl) can have dusky shanks per the Bantam Standard. So, I use the Bantam Standard for the colors that are not in the SOP.
