blue cochin changing colors?????

I bought a young blue cochin that I thought was a hen in October.... This hen grew wattles and is now changing colors on the tips of it's feathers to kind of a caramelish color. This color change started around the neck and is now present in the tips of the wings.
Can anyone shed some light on this??
What is this strange cochin?
Help me please.....

Posting a pic would help, but it may just be yellowing due to being exposed to the sun. When it molts the feathers will come back in blue.

Could be the sun, hormones, or some red leakage. Sometimes that happens with blue.

I will take some pictures tomorrow. This bird has been seperated from the others due to bullying so it has been in a cage in the hen house out of the sun. About a month or so ago I found it with it's rump plucked and bloody so I brought it in the house and put in a cage. It has been in the hen house for several weeks in a cage until I can find it a new home, slowly over the past 2 weeks I have noticed this feather change.
It looks like it is going to be very pretty what ever it turns out to look like.

Ok here are a couple of pictures. My pictures aren't that good.

I took a couple of close up pictures but they didn't turn out well.

Somebody said on another post that it could be a birchen. What is a birchen? Does anyone have any pics of a birchen?

So that is just normal? I have another black bantam that is starting to do the same thing!
So now I not only will not have blue cochins but also I won't have my black cochins!!
I wish I could take them back.
