Hello! I have a really sweet 3 week old blue cochin who has no tail feathers yet and my other 3 wk old chicks are waaaaay ahead of her. They're getting feathers on their heads and necks and don't look very fuzzy anymore. I've heard that roosters develop more slowly so I'm wondering if it's a rooster. He/she is a little smaller, not much, very feathered on legs. The others are same age chicks are RIR, Ameraucana, EE. Does slower feathering mean rooster? I don't have any current pics. Thanks for your help!
