Blue Cochins???

Are they good egg layers or just barnyard eye candy? Might be getting a couple today!

Good broody hens. Much like the banty size sometimes they go broody too much to lay much. So eye candy with the advantage of hatching babies for you. At least with my cochins I have had persistant broodies.

I would say mine (banties) are average to low, but then most of my girkl;s are slackers, except the leghorns

Mine layed alright. And they sure are pretty to look at.
