Blue Copper Maran or Black Copper Maran chick?

Any ideas? This chick is a lone survivor from a disasterous hatch! Any gender ideas? I am thinking roo, but ....

Do you know for sure it's not a cuckoo marans? Does it have the light spot on the top of it's head? If you know for certain it's either blue or black, my guess would be blue...
