Blue copper maran or welsummer egg??

Does anyone know whether this egg is blue copper maran or a welsummer egg?? My midnight majesty marans lay much darker eggs than this one, so I am doubtful it is a Maran egg, so thought I'd ask.

No way to tell unless you see the bird lay, pigment is up to the individual bird.

It looks like a pretty typical welsummer egg! I cant be sure because the egg pattern is different for each bird, but I would guess welsummer.

I also think Welsummer as BCM should lay darker eggs.
Do you have a Cuckoo Marans? They also lay eggs like this.

definitely to young to lay. they start to lay about 18-21 weeks of age.

I have both Marans and Welsummers and I would bet money on that being a Welsummer egg. They are known for their beautiful spots.
