Do you have any updated pictures? I'm curious to see what color your little cutie ends up being!

I haven't been doing this very long, so I can't tell if it's blue or lavender. It's very shiny silver, it almost looks chrome plated.

Little stubs of feathers yes. Bigger than the marans...

Are you 100% sure it's pure Marans? Only color variety I've raised that looked similar as a chick was a Black Tailed Buff.

So cute! Looks like a blue marans so maybe a mix or maybe your supplier subbed an egg? Either way, if it's only 2 weeks I'd watch that comb. Marans show their sex early with noticeably large combs around 4 weeks. This one I'm thinking is on his way...
