Blue Copper Marans?

I picked these girls up as babies on May 9 from my local feed store. They get them from a local hatchery that I can't recall the name of. They were the only dark colored babies in the brooder and they're supposed to be Blue Copper Marans. There is no copper color to either of them and one had a black comb for a long while which has only recently started turning red, but it still has a black hue to it that the new pictures don't pick up on. Are these truly Blue Copper Marans, or something else?

Definitely Blue, lighter and darker, but not Copper.

If they lay a medium-to-light brown egg they could well be Blue Australorps instead.
