blue dots on a brown egg???

I gathered an egg tonight, that had blue dots on it. Looks like watery dye splashed on it. Anybody have any thoughts on that???
The chooks have had nothing but all purpose poultry feed, granite grit, oyster shell, corn on the cob and fresh green grass in the past 48 hours. Only thing diff before that was some tuna 3 days ago.
Just never know what you are going to get!

Basically what you're seeing are dark brown spots (extra brown pigment) that are coated with extra blume (white calcium) which causes a purple/blue effect.

Sometimes, if your chicken lays a really dark egg like Black Copper Marans, you might have the luck of the entire egg having the coating, causing a purple egg.
