I am getting lots of eggs from these beautiful birds. This was from an accident of sorts and I just took it and ran with it. These are several generations in and are breeding true. BUT they are still a project so keep that in mind. These are HEARTY chicks and birds. I have 2 pens so you will get even more genetic diversity. The main pen has a black cock over blue hens/pullets. The other pen is a blue cock over black hens/pullets. You will get eggs from both pens but only a third will be from the blue cockerel (only 2 layers in that pen till the pullets start laying). I have never been able to offer these by the doz before and I am still hatching so some weeks these may not be available. Get them while you can!
