Blue eyed duckling more sensitive?

Is our blue eyed baby more sensitive to sun exposure? Is it normal and common for ducks to have blue eyes? Will he/she still have blue eyes as an adult or are they going to change colour as the duckling matures? I have noticed that they like sunbathing and although they can lie down on the grass in the shade, they prefer to lie down in the sunny part of their pen. Is that normal or should I move their pen to an always shady place? Is the sun dangerous for our blue eyed duckling?

hi, iam new to ducks and just hatched mine 2 weeks ago.. Mine also has blue eyes and hes not having any troble but i think they will change colour when older. and ducks do like to sunbath just make sure they have shade and water to play in xx

Yes it is common in certain breeds and should not affect your ducklings sensitivity to light exposure.
