Blue footed chicken?

I bought a dozen Dorking chicks about six weeks ago. I noticed recently that one of the white pullets has blue feet! I assume they were blue all along and I just didn't notice. She seems healthy, alert, etc., so I'm guessing that this isn't a disease symptom.

Does anyone know about chicken-foot-color genetics? How many genes determine foot color? How common are blue feet are in Dorkings?

Are they like a slate blue? I have some blue/black/splash birds that have blueish colored legs.
