Maxx - I'll get a pic up ASAP of both Raven and Zsa Zsa - its been raining here for two days straight, and I keep forgetting to stick my camera in my pocket on the way out to the garage...
Bantimna - My money is on one of these EE's now - I *seriously* doubt its the Polish laying these eggs. And if there was any mixing in her background, it was many, many generations ago - but I really don't think there was. I got this Polish pullet from Crunchie, and she has exceptional breeding stock.
Sonoran - I looked for holes under the fence, but there's nothing. Its just an ex-pen temporarily dividing two pens for the winter - its 3 feet tall and like 20 feet long, and there are no holes in it. I've seen Raven her go over it before, so I'm thinking she's just a pretty powerful jumper. I clipped her as severely as I dared, so it seems that anything short of whacking her wings completely off evidently just won't stop her!
I'm just going to have to replace it with a higher one, or put up with blue eggs in the Polish house. That's not entirely a bad thing, as long as I know for sure who is doing it!
