Out of curiosity, does blue, green, pink, etc. eggs taste any different from a White or Brown eggs?

People say there are no difference in flavor between white and brown eggs, but I personally like the flavor from brown eggs I buy at the store. I can't wait to try my hens eggs in a few months as I am told the flavor from BYC eggs are superior to store bought.

I never knew chickens laid any other color than white and brown. After reading BYC forum, I was surprised to learn of all the color variety of eggs and chicken breeds. Now I am curious about the flavor as I think I may want one or two to add to my flock. Thank you.

Welcome! The taste of an egg depends only on what it eats, weather it gets some greens or lives in a 1x1 cage for almost it's whole life eating whatever they eat. Easter Egger's and Americana's lay green and blue eggs, and sometimes pinkish. I hope that helps! :)
