currently on day 24. incubating 12 bobwhite eggs. everything was great before lock down eggs were pipping yesterday. The humidity has been at about 70. I didnt have the water bottles on the incubator because its been so humid here I haven't needed them. Well I woke up this morning to one chick, but the humidity had dropped all the way down to 38. I got it back up to 70 very quickly. There has been a lot of movement but no progression on the other 11 eggs. Are they all shrink wrapped. how long should I wait before I try and help.

It is recommended not to help until it's been 24 hours after the first pip. They'll need time to get that moisture back in them too. I think they should be okay though. From what I've read it can take up to 25 days for them to hatch.

Should you need to intervene, here's an article about how to assist. It'll be tougher than her examples in this article but same principle. https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/guide-to-assisted-hatching-for-all-poultry.72886/

Update. I was fretting over nothing. They all hatched this morning. All within 30 minutes. It was so fast.
