With this unseasonably beautiful weather we are having here in Virginia, I took some time to sit by the creek and watch my birds wandering. I just love this picture of my blue Isbar hen.

Thanks! I'm trying to get a picture of the roos (black Isbar), but they are too fast! Funny how they can be so calm in the coop and run, but so quick to run when free ranging.

I would love to see any pictures you can snap of them! Black Isbars are by far my favorite.

Too bad our roo turned on us, otherwise he would still be around.

Freedom can do that to a bird!

Funny, I've found that free ranging makes for docile roosters. When they are penned up more, they tend to be more aggressive.

My Isbars aren't old enough for shenanigans yet, either way!
