FINALLY... some pictures of my only surviving Isbar. I bought 6 eggs, got 7 and 5 hatched. One died the day after and other of cocci.. luckily.. this little girl made it. Meet Chilly.. Not too long until she lays hopefully :)

What a cutie! We have one blue Isbar girl here and we love her! Astrid is so friendly and the green eggs she lays are beautiful! She loves to pose for photos. Here are two pics:





 
I'm excited to see pictures of some girls who are laying... mine are not quite there yet.

And there's a younger blue pullet and a black pullet next to the blue cockerel. The young blue pullet was my sole hatchling out of 14 (expensive) shipped eggs!

I'm hoping this is a nice start to my fledgling Isbar program.

She is around 30 weeks old now and has been laying for 6-7 weeks. So I would guess she was around 23-24 weeks when she started laying.
