BLUE ISBARS - Pictures and discussion

In another week or so, you'll see a definite difference! The ones with combs at 5-6 weeks are Roos for sure. : )

I got my Isbars from GFF in March. Out of three, two were roosters. One was a black, I kept the blue. The pullet is black.
Do you think they are too closely related to breed? Should I order more from a different line than GFF? So far, I haven't found any one locally that owns any.

He is stunning!!! Blue roosters are my favourite of the 3 Isbar colours. Do you have any pictures of him from when he was younger?

Oh, thank you! I know I like him a lot and think he is beautiful. I keep reading and looking at pic's to see how he
compares. The two Isbars I have are so different from most chickens I have owned. Very docile and friendly and
even his crow is nonirritatiing! I really hope to add more.

I do have pictures and will do my best to locate them. My husband wanted to make my computer better and
faster, ha, and since that time it has been a nightmare trying to find my files.

Has anyone run across any other breed of chicken that is as laid back and calm as this breed? If so, I'd like to know what it is....serious.

So far, I have not. I keep t;hinkiing things may change as they are young. I think I am hooked!
