The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

I think this is the logical thread on which to announce this since those here who really know me generally hang out here on our Atlas chat thread. I have an e-book being published right now. it's not on Amazon just yet, but they are working down the list. It's on these places (universal link) so far:

Don't feel pressured to purchase this, but you can click on the book when you click on the link, see the cover, and read about it if you are interested.

I am currently tweaking the manuscript, editing and making adjustments to be able to publish in print form, which is very different from digital format. I only did this so that I could actually finish the project I began in 2012 while recovering from a broken ankle and my subscribers, friends and family might want to read it. I do think the print version will be a better, but here it is. I like completing projects. So few around here ever get done. My husband cracked his foot and he's hobbling around painfully so completed projects are pushed back, yet again.

Your book is lovely. You write with an amazing sense of place, and I feel like I’m right there, including toiling up your stairs with my bad knee.

I too am rootless, as a grown-up Army brat. Been to a lot of places around the world, none of them a home with history, no childhood friends. So I’m clinging to our oversized house on 0.15 acres, putting down roots as fast as I can. (Chicken poop helps with that.)

Thank you so, so much! I was not sure who would like this type of writing. I just wanted to be authentic about it all. And I really wanted to finish it even if I didn't make a dime on it. Didn't want my kids to find it unfinished on my computer after I was gone from this earth, and say, did you know Mom was writing a book? My younger son is an author of two books himself so he's been a big help in figuring out how this publishing thing works.
You are so right....chicken poop helps, LOL!
