In a few months I will definitely breed her! I'll be curious to see what Olivia lays. she came out of a gray tinted egg. Matilda's was glossy not mossy like she's laying so far.

Very pretty! She is starting to redden up and her wattles are growing, so it shouldn't be too long now. I would say a few more weeks and you should be looking for some pretty green eggs.

I so hope. I was thinking, that pic was a week or two ago. I have thought about going out in the rain to take a new pic. HAHA!

Mine seem to be around 5- 6 months or age or so. They are very good layers for me here in the cold snowy North! I love those birds!

My last 2 that just started in December were about 28 and 30 weeks old when they started. The ones that mature in the spring and summer usually start to lay about 18-20 weeks.

24 weeks, she started with one rubber then a good one on Saturday,, been laying everyday since. I have one that's 21 days younger. We will see with her... Good luck! Please post picture of egg when she starts!
