We've crossed a SL Rooster with BLR hens, we got sex-links that we're huge birds-but not pretty. Ended up eatting them. Stick to the pure color crosses, is my best advice.

Sarah7, I breed BLRW's a little bit. I have 2 hens and 2 roosters. I hatched 3 chicks last week and another batch is hatching today! I live in Hillsborough. Perhaps in the future if you are still interested in chicks, I get hatch you out a few!

This is my splash hen. The other is a dark laced. Both of my roosters are also the splash color!!

So I have 2 SLW hens & a BLRW Roo & if I've read this correctly when I cross them I will get sex links ?? Red, Black or gold or none of them??

hi, I have blrw roos and hens, some are dark and some are light. Does anyone know what shades I will get with breeding the two different shades together? If I breed dark with dark will I get dark? if I breed light with light will I get light? What do I get if I breed dark with light? What do I get if I breed light with dark? Thanks
