A single comb Wyandotte would be perfect. If you did breed a Wyandotte in with out the single comb the offspring would still carry the single comb gene and could produce single combs. You would just have to cull the second and third generation heavily. White skin is dominate so all the F1 generation should have white skin. That yellow skin comes back though and I hear it comes back with a vengeance LOL about the third generation.
 
I had a single comb BLRW hen. But I didn't use her for nreeding. She just ran around on the yard. She was real cute though. Wish I still had her. She would be perfect for this...
 
I have a single combed BLRW hen. Having a single comb in your flock of rosecombs is actually a good thing, but it's better for it to be a roo. Roos throw less single comb chicks for some reason. I would estimate that I get at least one single comb chick for every 20 or so I hatch.
