Blue laced red Wyandot

4 hatched yesterday. 3 came out dark and the other came out blonde. Any idea why the color difference? Could the blonde one be a rooster?

Blue laced red is an Andalusion blue. Splash, black and blue are resulting color of blue.

Blue & Blue= blue, black splash chicks

Blue and Black= blue and black chicks

Blue and Splash= blue and splash

Splash and Black= all blue chicks.



Splash color is result of two blue genes, blue is one blue gene and black is none.
