OK I got 9 chicks that hatched and want to confirm the colors. I am not sure on some...

Here is a group shot, the splash on the left, blues on the right and the 2 dark ones in the middle. One stray splash between the dark ones and the blues.






These 2 are very dark so I am thinking black.



These I think are blue....





Did I get it right?

I love my BLRW!!!!! I would love them even more if they would start laying eggs again

. Maybe one of these fine days they will, and I have tried everything under the sun to get them to go broody when they were laying and nothing. But I love my BLRW!

I ship SOME BLRW but so far my fertility has been ZIP on the SLW .... BUT I have a new pullet that just started laying and I KNOW her roo is doing his job LOL. Soon, soon.... I need some first.

I am going to be rearranging the pens and trimming the SLW to try to help things along. If that does not work AI is next on my list!

The SLW eggs I ordered 5/12 were not fertile. They are from show birds, I have 4 eggs on lock down hoping they hatch. I really liked the way your young SLW birds looked. Keep me in mind when you decide to ship.

Congrats! I have 2 more pullets coming from him this week. I have a trio from him now, but I've been negligent in getting pics to put up. I'm pretty excited about one of the pullets that I'm getting this week. He showed her at the APA Nationals in Ohio and she came home with RV.
