I think I am showing that black in September. By than he will have some nice size and will be into juvenile feathers. I have a female blue I am taking too. I just hope they get some weight on in this heat.

Quite an ordeal for her finding a place to lay but she finally went in the coop but not her nesting box

Tried to put her in it but she wouldn't have any of it. Layed it nice and quiet. Then she got loud....



She was panting heavily so I gave her the orange bowl with ice water in which she drank and drank...in between drinks she sang....

ok got this pic today, thought it was worth sharing...

started off calling it junior and senior, but it reminds me more of 'me and mini-me' LOL

.I have one from Max that looks close to yours. He sent me some really nice chicks. I have most males and I think 4 of them are at least BQ. I am keeping two I think are SQ.
