This is a pic of this chick at the 3th day of being home she was around 1-2 weeks old

WAY too early for saddle feathers. the comb is the give away. I don't get rid of roos at that age cuz I am just not 100% I will concur that is a roo....90% sure.

most of the really nice BLRW you see on this thread came from Jerry Foley. he is the top breeder in the states.

several people on here sell chicks and eggs from his lines. he has a website too. Foleywaterfowl.com I think......

my own blrw, i had a foley hen (lost in august), my other hen is from Canada and the roo of unknown origins. the cockerel from the foley girl is ok, but a bit narrow IMO, and I don't like his tail (she had more of a poof/horseshoe tail). then again he's only 5 months old, and a lot may still change.

the cockerel from my Canadian girl otoh, is MASSIVE! 5 months old and he's already bigger than his sire, with better type and color... but since i'm down to just his mother, he's sticking around for a bit until I get some more girls going...

I have to get pics tomorrow if I can... the 2 cockerels were sold as week old chicks, and the owners didn't want them... the difference between shim and chicken dinner are amazing (came back to me with those names, shim we thought was a pullet, CD was going to be dinner, but I wouldn't let her eat him. LOL)

granted I know foley doesn't sell his best birds, but if they produce anything like my Canada girl,

Hey guys need your help ASAP this guy in craigslist is trying to sell me 3BLRW and he sent me this 4 pics, 2 of the chicks and the parents, but i noticed hes sending this particular pic of one of the parents and i have seen this pic before in this forum, i believe the hen in the pic come from foley birds line, could the chicks may come from this line? Or this guy is trying to fool around with pics from the internet? Other thing, what you guys think about the chicks? They kind of look like black instead of blue to me
